What can I do to make my 16th birthday perfect?

I know my birthday is on January 30th, but I want it to be perfect. Every single birthday party I have I’ve cried because my family just picks on me, or something goes wrong. What can I do for my birthday? Any themes, or ideas are welcome. My mom said we are going to have a big party, but I don’t think we have enough money. I want it to be something to remember and please no immature comments. ^_^

just enjoy ur birthday, ur family won’t pick on u, u could all come in costumes i.e. different pokemon lol and do a pokemon hunt lol, or a barbecue if its nice, and u cud have like a pub quiz, where u and ur friends split up into groups and one of ur adult family members asks questions.
