Zirconium Silver
Jewellery for a female friend on her birthday?
It is a pretty silver / zirconium neck pendant on a silver chain and it is for her 21st. I am hoping I have struck a nice balance between not too cheap and tacky (since I like her a lot) and not too over-the-top (We’re not actually dating, at least not yet).
It’s a little nerve-wracking as I’ve never given a girl jewellery before, but now that I have received it and seen it for myself, I’m happier and I am pretty sure she will like it.
How should I give it to her? She is having a big family/friend celebration so I don’t wanna make a big deal out of it and embarrass her by giving it to her in front of everyone, with people going “Oooh!”
I was also thinking of doing a suprise like ‘hiding’ it in the pages of a novel I bought her also (she loves to read) and hint that she should check out the ‘picture’ on page whatever it is so she discovers it. Does that sound like a good idea or stupid?
Aww that is sweet! I say make the moment special for the both of you and give it to her when you guys are alone together. I think the idea of hiding it in the pages of a novel and telling her to go to a certain page, is cool and fun. Girls love that sort of thing. Go for it!
