High Intensity
High or low intensity workout to increase endurance?

Is it better to workout at a high intensity or a low intensity to increase my endurance? I do NOT want to know what burns more fat (I am skinny) I want to get in shape and do it fairly fast. So should I run a long time at a slow/moderate pace, or several short fast runs?

The best way to get in shape is training at your race pace or faster. It’s best to stress your body with variety so break up your routine with short runs for instance 200 meters X 16 at your 400 meter pace. For endurance – for instance run 2 miles X 3 at 10K pace or 1 mile X 4 at 5K pace. Remember to alternate between hard and easy days – your easy days is relaxed aerobic running or rest. Good luck!
